News Flash: There'll be no Judgement Day!

People seem to be all about debauchery and waste lately, and when confronted with questions about their lack of responsability their answers go from the usual and childish "It's not my problem, that's what we pay X to take care of it". Some on the other hand try the pseudo-intellectual "The world is doomed by the incompetence of our institutions, the greed of our leaders and the ignorance of our society" Riiiight... And then there are these characters that go on and actually try to bullshit you with "Why bother? 2012 is soon to come!"

Well, I have a piece of advice for you, 2012, judgement day, the end of times, and all that spooky language... is crap.
The world is not going to end, and judging for the fact that every year more and more people beat the 100 years old cap, we're going to be here for quite a while. I am 21, that means that I have a 70% chance to live another 65 years, and I dont want to go on with my life knowing about all the things I could have done to make this world a better place but didnt, because "it wasnt my problem".

So, now that you know you'll probably live a hundred years, why dont you look out your window and pick up something you can do to make that what you see, to look better?

I had been sick as fuck for a couple weeks, but this past sunday I started feeling better. Not enough to go out, but I could finally sit in front of my comp, pick up my tablet and start painting.
So I decided to see how many full paintings I could make in a week, from sunday to sundar, and these 12 I'm posting today were the winners

I'm currently working on another painting but this one will take a while so it couldnt make it

Valeria Saetiel

1 She loves butterflies.
2 She really loves the flavour of blood, unlike other vampires who drink it cause they need it.
3 She has had a special interest in blades since she was little, and playing with knives was how she discovered she would heal wounds.
4 She loves hiking.
5 Her healing factor is not limited to tissue regeneration, her body automathically regenerates from fatigue, sickness, stress, poison, etc. This, however, gives her trouble sleeping and keeps her ever hungy.
6 She feels no regret about killing, she's a natural hunter and considers all living beings equal in their right to live or die.
7 Her first near death experience made her an extremist about the "supervivance of the fittest" line of tought.

7 He places his job as ruler before everything and anything else.
8 He can only nourish from female blood.
9 He is afraid of fire.
10 He dislikes flowers.

Rafael De Alborada

1 His father was a cattle rancher, he didnt wanted to follow the same line of work so he started traveling.
2 He is afraid of depths.
3 His real name is Ruy, but he changed names constantly during his journeys.
4 Tough he is basically immortal due to his curse, he is extremely careful and picky with what he does because he doesnt know when or how the curse could break.
5 He is meant to be a vampire, but unlike cainssons he has no "vampire birthskills", his regeneration ability comes from his curse.
6 He plays the violin.
7 While he cant die, he can experience mental breakdowns, shellshock and such stress conditions.
8 His first ship "The Arrow" was destroyed by the ship he stole to rescue it, that began his pirate career.
9 He often talks in ye' olde ways.
10 He has developed a flawless aim thru the centuries he's lived and created the portable cannon.

Grigoire

1 He is from one of the very few kinds of vampire that is damaged by sunlight.
2 He has worn his sun-proof suit since he made it in his early teens, that dampened his growth.
3 He never developed shape-shifting, unlike others of his clan, because the morph could damage his suit.
4 He lived in the sewers under a bookstore, from where he got a good amount of his knowledge.
5 He loves fish more than any other food and would eat fish and only fish if he could.
6 He hates to fight in close quarters, but cant see good enough for long range weapons with his suit, so he is only good at stealth and some psychic abilities.
7 He hates the color green.
8 He has never had a love interest.
9 His first "best friend" was a pigeon.
10 Before he built his suit he was allergic to all animals but rats, pigeons and other vermin.
